Quotes from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Ginny!" said Mr. Weasley, flabbergasted. "Haven't I taught you anything? What have I always told you? Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain?

Oh well... I'd just been thinking, if you had died, you'd have been welcome to share my toilet.

Gotta bone ter pick with yeh. I've heard you've bin givin' out signed photos. How come I haven't got one?

Constitutions become the ultimate tyranny," Paul said. "They’re organized power on such a scale as to be overwhelming. The constitution is social power mobilized and it has no conscience. It can crush the highest and the lowest, removing all dignity and individuality. It has an unstable balance point and no limitations.

Here lies a toppled god.
His fall was not a small one.
We did but build his pedestal,
A narrow and a tall one.

Reviews of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Readers will be irresistibly drawn into Harry's world by GrandPre's comic illustrations and Rowling's expert combination of broad boarding school farce and high fantasy.

This is another great story by J.K. Rowling. It shows how Harry and Ron get on throughout the 'clever stuff' without Hermione and how the Chamber of Secrets was supposedly opened before by their biggest friend...Just like the first book this is superbly written with amazing descriptions to make you feel as if you are Harry attending Hogwarts!

...rollicking, spine-tingling adventure. You're sure to love all the fast-moving action, magic and fun in every chapter.

I thought this book was wonderful. It amazes me that someone could create something so original and interesting. JK Rowling was so descriptive with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which makes the reader entertained.
