Richelle E. Goodrich, an American author and novelist, has written a series of inspirational and motivational books, the latest of which is Being Bold. Being Boldin includes quotes, poetry, and a number of short stories in the same vein as Smile Anyway, Making Wishes, and Slaying Dragons. Every day ... of the year, enjoy a profound thought, including the following:
"From the moment I was born, I was destined to be an actor." "The world is not my stage, darling, but my audience."
“Don't bury yourself too deeply. That, my friends, is the key to happiness.”
“Friends make life a lot easier. Involve your friends if you want to succeed at a challenge. They have an incredible ability to relieve physical, emotional, and mental stress simply by being present.”
“Life can be a nightmare. Life isn't always pretty.
And there are still those who smile at the darkness, looking forward to the beauty of a sunrise.”
“Love is a superpower, to be sure. It is the pinnacle of superpower.”
“You feel sorry for a monster when he becomes quiet and crumbles to the ground weeping. You could approach with trepidation and hope, whispering peaceful words. But, because he is, after all, a monster, he will rise to his full height in the morning, roaring and stomping and baring his sharp teeth.”
This book was written with daily inspiration and motivation in mind.
I think one of the biggest reasons people have difficulty believing in God is because they don't understand Him. I often hear doubting comments like if there is a God then why this and why that ? and how could He allow…? Perhaps if people were to invest true effort getting to know Him, they would discover a mindful Father who remains with us every step of the way through trials and tribulations that, though painful, are crucial experiences meant to teach and mold His children for a higher purpose.
