EVIE WYLD has grown up in Australia and London where she now resides. Her first novel, After the Fire, a Still Small Voice, won both the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and the Betty Trask Award, and All the Birds, Singing won the Miles Franklin Literary Award and the Encore for Best Second Novel. Wyld was also shortlisted for the New Writers Orange Award, the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the Commonwealth Writers Prize, the James Tait Black Prize and the Costa Novel Award, and longlisted for the Baileys Women's Fiction Prize. Her graphic memoir, Everything Is Teeth, was created with Joe Sumner, an illustrator. Wyld lives in London, where she runs a bookshop about the Review.
