Dave Eggers is the author of ten books, including Your Fathers, Where are they most recently? And the Prophets, Do They Live Forever?, The King's Circle and A Hologram, a finalist for the National Book Award 2012. He is the founder of McSweeneys, a San Francisco-based independent publishing company that produces books, a quarterly new writing journal (McSweeneys Quarterly Concern), and a monthly newspaper, The Believer. McSweeneys also publishes Voice of Witness, a series of non-profit books that illuminate human rights crises around the world using oral history. Eggers is the co-founder of 826 National, a country-wide network of eight tutoring centers, and ScholarMatch, a non-profit organization designed to connect students with resources, schools, and donors to enable college. He and his family live in Northern California.
