Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank was a Jewish girl who had been born in Frankfurt, Germany. Her dad moved to the Netherlands in 1933 and the rest of the family later followed. In February 1934 Anne was the last of the family to come to the Netherlands. During the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II s... he wrote a diary while in hiding with her family and four friends in Amsterdam. She had been living with her parents and sister in Amsterdam. Anne and her family hid in the attic of her father's office during the Holocaust in order to escape the Nazis. She'd recorded her life in her diary during that time period. Anne died at the age of fifteen in Bergen-Belsen, February 1945.READ MORE
