Anna Dewdney was teacher, mother and enthusiastic advocate of reading to children aloud. She continuously upgraded her skills as an artist and writer and in 2005 published her first book of Llama Llama. Her passion for creating extended to home and garden, and she lovingly restored a farmhouse in southern Vermont which dates back to the 18th century. She wrote, painted, gardened, and lived there with her partner, Reed, her two daughters, two wirehaired griffons and one bulldog. Anna passed away in 2016, but her spirit will continue to live on in her books.
